Pet Health Insurance for Cat

Looking for pet health insurance for cat, whether one or more cats?
Read these tips from a former employee of Petcare Insurance before you buy.

As a former employee of Petcare Insurance let me enlighten you a little bit. You will be tempted with low premium policies-do not get them. The exclude more than they cover and will inevitably leave you hanging out to dry. The policies that will cover your pet-when they are sick, note not for routine care, cost quite a bit. At this point you must decide if spending 60-70 bucks a month is worth the risk.

Keep in mind that if your pet has been sick in the past any new illness risks not being covered. There is so much fine print involved that most people only end up keeping their policies for 3-6 months when they realize that the policy costs could be put to better use. Could it work? Yes. Does it? At times. The claims adjusters will do everything in their power to not pay the claim. I saw it time and time again.

Look at my situation - I have cats and as an employee we were offered 1 free policy.  I did not take them up on that for a couple of reasons. I saw what they did to former employees who had the policy and then left the company only to have a full years policy charge go on their credit card. I also weighed the risk factor-indoor cats, fairly young. Every person's situation is different, as a former seller of pet insurance I would urge everyone to read thoroughly the fine print before you buy.

Still not sure?

Maybe this review did not answer all your quesitons.  What have other pet owners experienced with their pet insurance claims?  What companies have they used?  Is it worth investing the money in it? There are many other possible options available to make sure your pets are covered in a medical emergency.  But, choosing what's best for you and your cats can be difficult!   Check out other reviews on these pages:
